Red Sox Sign Walker Buehler to $21M Contract

The Boston Red Sox have signed former Dodgers World Series hero Walker Buehler to a one-year, $21.05 million contract, including $2.5 million in performance incentives. This acquisition aims to bolster the team's pitching rotation, which was ranked 17th with a 4.04 ERA last season. Buehler, who recently returned from his second Tommy John surgery, excelled in the postseason, particularly in the NLCS and World Series. Boston now hopes he can deliver similar postseason performance throughout the season in the competitive AL East.
